Software Intern - Web Developer

1. Essential requirements/competencies:

• Goal-oriented, can-do mindset, and strong willingness to learn.
• Self-driven, able to manage tasks effectively and contribute beyond expectations.
• Creativity in solving technical challenges and implementing solutions.
• Basic understanding of software development principles, coding standards, security, and performance.

Ideal candidate's accolades/experience:

• No previous work experience required, but projects or coursework related to web development will be a plus.
• Eagerness to step out of comfort zones, take on challenges, and learn new web technologies.
• Ability to work quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

2. Technical requirements:

• Familiarity with web development fundamentals (HTML, CSS, JavaScript).
• Knowledge of (or exposure to) modern web development frameworks and technologies such as NextJS, React, GraphQL, Prisma, and Postgres.
• Understanding of software engineering practices such as version control (Git) and DRY (Don’t Repeat Yourself) principles.
• Experience with responsive web design and basic UI/UX principles is a plus.
• Understanding of RESTful APIs and basic concepts of web security.

3. What will you do at Vucar:

• Collaborate with the development team to build and maintain web-based applications for Vucar’s platform.
• Contribute to both front-end and back-end development tasks, ensuring the user experience is seamless across different devices.
